At our conference last year we learned from Susan Hunt the life-giving role that we as women have in nurturing and building one another up in the compassionate communities of our local churches. Woman to woman, life on life, our relationships with one another are a means by which the Lord is building his Church. The glimpse of this boots-on-the-ground, life-giving aspect of covenant community which Susan laid before us left us thirsting for more. Now that we have the building blocks, where do we go from here? In our church and in others, Titus 2 discipleship ministries are set to launch or already meeting! What’s next?

Paula Miles will build on our theme as she shows us how the Holy Spirit, brick by brick, relationship by relationship, is building us into the temple of God, with Christ as our cornerstone; we are being equipped, growing up together as a living body, with Christ as our head; and we are being washed by our bridegroom with the water of the word, cleansed from our sin, that he may present us to himself—in splendor, without spot or wrinkle… that we might be holy. The vision is glorious, won’t you join us?
