Fall 2020 WOP Studies

We are planning to begin our fall studies on Wednesday, September 30th at 10 a m . We will be using appropriate Covid plans for a safe environment. We will also offer nursery.

We have two studies on Wednesday morning and are offering an optional Wednesday night Zoom of the Philippians study at 6:30 pm.

Studies

Philippians: Knowing the Bible by Ryan Kelly (Crossway) – This is a 12 week bible study and will be led by Barbaranne Kelly.

Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament by Mark Vroegop– This is a 10 week book study and will be led by Kathy Horan. This book seeks to restore the lost art of lament in order to help readers discover the power of honest wrestling with the questions that come with grief and suffering.

We are the Women’s Ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church.

Under the leadership of the session, we seek to faithfully proclaim and minister the gospel of grace through a unified threefold purpose – teaching, equipping and serving.

Our common goal is for sisters in Christ to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to fulfill their God-given purpose in covenant community with other women.

We endeavor to teach one another who God is, who we are, and how we are uniquely designed to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.  We are intentional about combatting the lies of this age with the truth of God’s Word.

We endeavor to equip one another to fulfill our God-given purpose in the home, covenant body and in the surrounding culture.  We teach and equip for the work of ministry and for building up the body of Christ in unity and love.

And finally, we serve the body of Christ through teaching and equipping that is girded by prayer so that we may present our bodies as living sacrifices acceptable to God, ever transforming as life-givers.

….to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, [Ephesians 4:12]
